I missed my statistics gcse is this bad?

i do statistics gcse which is for top set maths students, no one else. I missed the exam and therefore only completed about 20% of the course and will probably get a U. I want to go to university later in my life so i need to know whether this will affect my future, statistics is only like an add on for maths. help me, thanks
