Best temperature to cook an omelette without it burning, browning, etc?

Tomorrow me and a friend are cooking omelettes in our Independent Living class as a grade. Naturally, we're cooking the omelettes on a stove, using 3 eggs for each omelette. What temperature should we cook the omelettes on so they wont brown, burn, or won't take forever to cook?
