Is it normal for pierced earlobes to hurt 2 to 3 days after getting them?

It's normal :] The first few days it might be a bit sore & reddish because it's healing. You can take some pain killers. As long as you keep them clean your fine! Also don't worry if your ear become purplish around the earring. This will go away & it doesn't mean you have an infection. After 6 weeks the pain should lesson. Just keep watch over them as they heal. Look for any signs of bumps or oozing. Only If your ear becomes itchy or feels like it's burning it could be a infection.
