Fellow atheists/agnostics how do you feel about being the most hated group on Earth?

There have been dozens of polls and statistics from around the world confirming that atheists and agnostics and the most hated and distrusted minority on Earth. There are billions of people who would love to crack our skulls open for believing what we believe. The only thing that keeps us from being hunted down and killed is the fact that the rest of the world has its own day to day problems to face. How do you feel about this? Does it empower or discourage you?
